Based on the mathematical calculations of Marcel Tolkowsky the Ikuma diamonds are cut ideal proportions. Developed in 1919, this ideal cut was created to produce maximium brilliance with a high degree of dispersion or "Fire" The Ikuma Diamond by Ben Bridge is cut not only to ideal proportions but is so precisely cut that it is raised to an exemplary level. The sign of this near perfection can be seen within the diamonds themselves in an image which can be easily identified as a geometric pattern of Hearts & Arrows. This image of exactness can occur only when each of the diamonds facets align perfectly.
